Almost everyone is familiar with the good, old-fashioned board game, Snakes and Ladders where a roll of three dice determine whether you move up or down the board.

The thrilling feature game in Snakes and Ladders Bingo uses a similar format, with ladders leading to instant cash rewards and snakes that cause you to plummet down the board to try and start climbing back up again.

The main game uses traditional 90-ball rules, which means that you can win cash for creating one line, two lines and a full house. However, if you manage to claim the full house within 38 calls, you get to share the Super Snakes Jackpot with your fellow roomies.

While you’re visiting Mecca Bingo, be sure to look out for special Mecca Ton games which offer increased guaranteed prizes of up to £100.

How to play

The Snakes and Ladders Bingo room lets you purchase up to 72 tickets for each game, although you can buy as few as one if you prefer.

Tickets usually cost 3p each, although Mecca Ton games cost more due to the increased prize pools

Each ticket is formed of 9 columns and 3 rows, and each row has 5 numbers on it. So, you have a total of 15 numbers on each of your tickets.

You achieve the one-line prize by creating a single row of numbers, the two-line prize by creating two rows of numbers on the same bingo ticket, and the full house by marking off all 15 numbers on a ticket.

When the game ends, if you’re left with any 1TG cards (i.e. just one number remaining), you get to play the bonus round.

The bonus game uses a Snakes and Ladders board that contains 25 numbered squares.

You see a dice roll three times and this moves your counter up the board. If you land on a ladder, you advance to the top of it but if you land on a snake, you slither further down the board.

Some of the squares contain cash amounts which are awarded if you land on them when the final dice is rolled. Make it to the 25th square and you receive the top prize of £500.

Jackpot

The Super Snakes Jackpot is a progressive jackpot that is exclusive to the Snakes and Ladders Bingo room.

It slowly increases as it’s topped up by 1% of all tickets sold, and it pays out when a player completes a full house within 38 calls.

The Super Snakes Jackpot is also a community jackpot, so it awards 50% to the winner and a share of the remaining 50% to all other players in the room.

Each time that the jackpot is won, it resets to £1,000 before starting to climb all over again.

Graphics and Sounds

Your tickets are displayed in the bottom area of the screen, and above them, you can see how many balls have been called and what the prizes are worth.

The chat window is on the right-hand side and beneath it, there’s the mini-games window which lets you choose from a variety of slots and casino games.

A default male voice is used to announce the balls although you can change it to female via the settings menu.

Conclusion

Snakes and Ladders Bingo delivers plenty of slippery fun to online bingo fans. In essence, it’s a traditional 90-ball game that also offers a bonus round that’s exclusively for 1TG players. This means that people who have got incredibly close to a full house but just missed out don’t necessarily have to go home empty-handed.

You can also take part in Mecca Ton specials where the prize pots are boosted to as much as £100!

Snakes and Ladders Bingo is exclusive to Mecca Bingo, so if you want to try out this brilliant (and slightly bonkers) bingo game, simply head over to the site and open the bingo lobby.

If you’ve yet to create an account, you can sign-up within minutes, and if you meet the qualifying requirements when making your first deposit, you could also receive a generous welcome package!

Mecca Bingo also boasts heaps of other unique and networked bingo variants such as Deal or No Deal 90, Cashline, Britain’s Got Talent Bingo, Burst, Emoji Bingo, and Fluffy Favourites Bingo.
