UKG Bingo celebrates all things Garage, and so Charlie Shakespeare travels to The Rainbow in Birmingham to meet Dazzle and the crew, and to enjoy a lively night he’ll never forget.
UKG Bingo is a night of bingo and basslines, where players don their best Moschino shirts, bring out the bling and Re-Rewind to the glory days of UK Garage Music.
Episode 3 – The Big Drag Bingo
Episode 3 takes Charlie to Canterbury where he experiences a drag party with some very special drag artists.
It’s time to slay! Charlie Shakespeare is in Canterbury to meet drag bingo royalty, Delilah Tickles and Anita Wee. Over 200 people fill Westgate Hall for a drag party like no other.
The Big Drag Bingo features drag performances, traditional 90-ball bingo, outrageous prizes, and a disco till late.
Episode 4 – Figs in Wigs | Astrology Bingo
Figs in Wigs have created the world’s first ever cosmic game show for astrology lovers, bingo wingers and their sceptic friends.
Are you ready for the most unique bingo event ever featured in two series of Dabbing Out?
Charlie Shakespeare is at The Point Theatre in Eastleigh, Southampton to meet the Figs in Wigs for Astrology Bingo, a bingo game based on your own astrological chart.
Your favourite galactic gal pals, Figs in Wigs have created the world’s first ever cosmic game show for astrology lovers, bingo wingers and their sceptic friends.
This bingo show needs a bit of prep before the event, but we can confirm it is well worth your time. They need your date and time of birth to plan an astral chart bingo card that is unique to you. Take a look and see how it works. Or check out the Figs in Wigs review page.
Episode 5 – FunnyBoyz Benidorm Bingo
The final episode of Dabbing Out series 2 takes Charlie to Liverpool – the spiritual home of the bingo rave phenomenon
In this final episode of DabbingOut, Charlie Shakespeare is in Liverpool for FunnyBoyz’ Benidorm Bingo. He meets drag queen Miss Grace, before enjoying the entertainment with a lively group of friends. They play 90-ball bingo, but with a musical twist.
FunnyBoyz’ Benidorm Bingo features a comedy cabaret, tribute acts, crowd interaction and Queen’s from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
This is one of the most vibrant and friendly bingo as entertainment events we have visited and much of that is down to the very professional group of drag artists behind the concept. As well as bingo there are lots of side games during the evening and the prizes are more fun than financial.
Other WhichBingo’s Video Series
As a married man (to a woman), I appreciate I’m not necessarily Buff Bingo’s target audience, however, I could certainly recognise (and see with my own eyes) what an incredible brunch it is for girls, female birthday parties and Hen Dos. If you like seeing hot men while playing bingo, this is unquestionably the event for you!
UKG Bingo is ultimatly a UK Garage party, and therefore it attracts a very different audience to the ones we see in other episodes of Dabbing Out. This event isn’t camp or theatrical. It’s gritty, roaring and provocative, meaning we see a very different demographic enjoying the game of bingo.
Bingo party events are enjoyed by both young and old, but never is this more apparent than at The Big Drag Bingo. A table of 20-year-old girls sit next to a table of 70-year-old couples, proving that bingo remains a game for all ages to enjoy.
In every episode of Dabbing Out, the performers present bingo with their own unique twist, but none have reinvented the game quite like the Figs in Wigs. Astrology Bingo is incredibly impressive and feels like a new concept all-together.
The FunnyBoyz venue in Liverpool is like a traditional Northen working-mens club, but with a glitzy & glamorous LGBT+ twist. Coming from London, we don’t have any venue with an atmosphere quite like this, and I absolutely LOVED it!
