Players will go on another underwater adventure with lots of brightly coloured, but fearsome, sharks as they attempt to take home cash prizes of up to a whopping 100,000x your stake. Not only are the graphics better in this sequel but so too are the bonus features. In this game, you can look forward to wild symbols, mystery symbols, a nudge and reveal feature which nudges mystery symbols on to the reels and a razor reveal feature which can award multipliers up to 5,000x your stake and more. What’s more, there is a free spins bonus round with an increasing multiplier in play.

If you think this could be the slot game for you, carry on reading our Razor Returns review for all the information you need to know about this game.

How to Play

The minimum bet per spin is 10p and this rises to £100. Winning combinations are formed by landing three or more matching symbols across adjacent reels and this must start from reel one.

The symbols on the reels of this game are:

  • Anchor
  • Compass
  • Periscope
  • Diving helmet
  • Blue shark
  • Green shark
  • Pink shark
  • Orange shark
  • Great white shark
  • Torpedo scatter

In the base game, the highest value symbol on the reels is the great white shark and he will award up to 12.5x your stake for five in a winning combination. With the special features in play, there is the chance to win up to 100,000x your stake.

Special Features

This includes mystery symbols, a nudge and reveal feature, a razor reveal feature and a free spins round.

The wild symbol is the great white shark and it can replace other symbols on your reels to help form new winning combinations and potentially award larger cash prizes.

Players may notice mystery symbols landing on their reels and these appear as stacks of five. When this happens, the nudge and reveal feature is activated. The mystery symbols transform into a paying symbol and can then form winning combinations. Players can then spin the reels and any mystery symbols will move down one position while the other reels spin. This feature ends when all of the mystery symbols have fallen off the reels.

The mystery symbols can sometimes reveal a golden shark symbol and this will trigger the razor reveal feature. One of five features can then be triggered by the golden shark:

  • Multipliers – a multiplier of up to 10x is awarded
  • Instant prize – between 1x and 5,000 your bet is awarded
  • Converter – this symbol moves through all of the paying symbols on the reels and all matching symbols are converted into golden shark symbols which can then trigger the razor reveal feature
  • Nudge up – this symbol can nudge mystery stacks by one position
  • Collector – this symbol will collect the values of the instant prize symbols on the reels and then turn in to an instant prize symbol after the respin. The instant prize symbols will be removed from the reels as they are collected, which can lead to more prize symbols falling in place

Watch out for the torpedo scatter symbols as landing three or more will trigger the free spins round. The more scatters you land, the bigger your starting multiplier will be:

  • Three torpedo scatters – x1 multiplier
  • Four torpedo scatters – x5 multiplier
  • Five torpedo scatters – x25 multiplier

As the free spins begin, the second and fourth reels are filled with mystery symbols. With each spin, the mystery symbols nudge down one position and the multiplier increases by one. The spins continue until there are no mystery symbols left on the reels.

Graphics and Sounds

Razor Returns takes players back down into the depths of the ocean with high-quality, aquatic themed graphics. The animation in this slot looks fantastic with lots of swimming fish passing behind the reels throughout the game.

On the reels, the low value symbols include an array of sunken objects such as a periscope, a compass and a divers helmet, while the high value symbols include an array of brightly coloured shark symbols that look pretty menacing! A drum led soundtrack plays in the background as you spin the reels which becomes much more ominous during the special features and adds a lot of excitement to the game.

If you loved the original Razor Shark slot game, we have no doubt you will enjoy spinning the reels of Razor Returns. This aquatic themed slot game offers some of the highest quality graphics you will find in any online slot game as well as a brilliant accompanying soundtrack.

The range of bonus features is also brilliant, and players will particularly enjoy the razor reveal feature as well as the free spins round with the mystery symbols and increasing multiplier in play. With wins of 100,000x your stake up for grabs, it is time to face your fears and take on the fearsome sharks in Razor Returns.
