- Best Slot Game
Head to any online bingo site, slot site or casino site and there’s one certainty – if you look through the slots section you will notice a decent number of Irish-themed online slots games. The Irish have been associated with luck since the late 1880s so it’s no wonder so many online slots game choose the Emerald Isle as their theme.
Probably the most popular game with a rub of the emerald green as its theme is Rainbow Riches. This online slots title was released in 2013 by Barcrest, although the title is now distributed via SG Digital. Rainbow Riches has been incredibly successful, spawning several sequels and now, a Rainbow Riches version of Slingo!
How to Play
Slingo is a unique mix of a slots game and bingo. The object of the game is to fill a 5×5 bingo card with completed numbers. However, instead of the numbers being drawn as is normal with bingo games, numbers are selected via a slot where the reels roll at the bottom of the screen.
When you start the game you must first choose the size of your bet, which can be anything from £0.50 to £100.00. The size of your bet affects any payouts you may be fortunate enough to achieve.
You will then be presented with a bingo card with 25 numbers arranged in a 5×5 grid. Hit ‘start game’ to get things motoring. The five reels below the card will spin revealing five numbers or bonus tokens. If the number on the reel matches a number on your card, then it will be marked off automatically for you.
You many land bonus tokens too. For example, the joker token will allow you to select and mark off any of the numbers on the column below which it appears. The super joker symbol allows you to mark off ANY number anywhere on your card. Watch out for the demon symbol though. If this lands then you cannot mark off a number on the column below which it appears.
The game begins with ten spins and you need to land as many lines as you can to win a feature. Five is the minimum number of lines at which a feature is unlocked. If at the end of the game you’ve not secured a win you will be given the option of paying extra for further spins.
A Rainbow Riches feature is available if you land five or more lines:
Wishing Well Bonus (5 Lines): Choose a wishing well to reveal your prize
Cash Crop Bonus (6 Lines): Choose spinning coins over four rounds to win a multiple of your stake
Magic Toadstool Bonus (7 Lines): Choose three toadstools to reveal multipliers or fairies. If you find a fairy you get another three picks!
Magic Toadstool Red Bonus (8 Lines): Identical to the Magic Toadstool Bonus except that you now have four picks instead of three.
Road to Riches Bonus (9 Lines): Spin the wheel to reveal the number of moves you can make along the Road to Riches all the way to the x500 top prize.
Road to Riches Red Bonus (10 Lines): As above except that all values along the road are now doubled!
Pots of Gold Bonus (Full House): A dozen pots will spin around, containing values from x50 to x1,000 your stake. When they stop spinning the pot above the golden arrow indicates the prize that you have won!
The maximum you can win during one spin of this game is 1,000 times your stake. For this, you need to score a full house then secure the x1,000 pot when playing the Pots of Gold Bonus round.

Graphic and Sounds
Rainbow Riches Slingo looks and feels just how you might imagine it. It really is as if Slingo and Rainbow Riches met up, fell in love, got married and had a wee baby. Is this a Slingo game, or is this a Rainbow Riches game? The truth is, it doesn’t really matter! The look will be familiar to players of both games.
The music though will be very familiar to fans of the Rainbow Riches slot. Indeed, the music and sound effects have been pulled directly from the original game!
If you are a fan of slots, and you are a fan of bingo, then it is a nailed-on certainty that you will like Slingo. If you are a fan of Rainbow Riches then it is a nailed-on, cast-iron, one hundred and one per cent certainty that you will like Rainbow Riches Slingo! This game really does add extra depth to both bingo and slots and the Rainbow Riches branding is just top-notch.
