Spirit Twister Bingo Review
Spirit Twister Bingo is a deliciously different bingo variant, and we love its unique and rather calming Native American theme.
You won’t have to wait long if you want to play Spirit Twister Bingo. Although only 25 players are allowed to enter the room at any one time, multiple games can run at any one time. The games only take around 3 minutes each to play, so a spot should open pretty quickly without a long wait for the game to start.
The tickets for the room are very reasonably priced at 5p each. However, you must buy 10 tickets to play which means that the minimum spend is 50p.
Unlike 75-ball coverall games, there are plenty of chances to win prizes in the Spirit Twister room as it’s a 5-line game, as well as a progressive jackpot and multipliers, so we feel that the games offer good value for money.
How to play
Playing Spirit Twister Bingo is pretty easy. You start by buying your tickets when you enter the room before waiting for the game to begin.
In the run-up to a new game, one of the spirit animals is chosen at random to act as the full house multiplier. Depending on whether the stag, the rabbit, the fox, the wolf or the bear is picked, the multiplier could be worth x1, x2, x3, x4 or x5.
As each ball is announced, the software automatically daubs and sorts your tickets so that you can see how many numbers you still need to claim a win.
Jackpot
The jackpot that can be won in the Spirit Twister Bingo room is a progressive one which means that it grows with each ticket that is bought in one of its rooms.
It’s also a community jackpot, so if you’re not fortunate enough to win it, you could still benefit from some of its cash if you happen to be playing at the same time and site that the jackpot is won on.
50% of the jackpot goes to the full house win while the remaining 50% is shared between all participating players.
You can win the progressive jackpot by getting a full house within 40 calls or less.
Graphics and Sounds
The game is beautifully designed, which is not surprising since the developer behind it is Playtech.
The background consists of purple mountains and a star-filled sky and your cards appear at the bottom of the screen.
You can see the numbers appear in the section at the top-left as they are announced, and to the right of this, you can see the amounts that can be won by completing one line, two lines, three lines, four lines, and a full house.
There’s a chat window that you can use to talk to other roomies and the chat host, and beneath it, there’s another window that lets you try out other games such as scratch cards and slots.
A male voice announces the balls which cannot be altered, and whenever a multiplier is revealed, you see one of the spirit animals appear in the centre of the screen which subsequently turns the background colour to the same hue as the animal.
Conclusion
Spirit Twister Bingo is a deliciously different bingo variant, and we love its unique and rather calming Native American theme.
It has many different prizes that you can play for, including a generous progressive jackpot, but for us, the highlight is the quirky Spirit Animal multipliers which have the potential to boost full house prizes by up to five times their usual value. As the game is launched and 5p is the maximum price per ticket (50p per game) the game prizes are quite low, so it will be interesting to see if these price points change as time goes on.
Spirit Twister Bingo is available at most sites that use Virtue Fusion (Playtech) software, but among the first brands to launch it was Buzz Bingo.
Buzz Bingo is the online arm of the popular Buzz Bingo chain, and it has all sorts of bingo games to entertain you with including The Voice Bingo, Fluffy Favourites Bingo, Rainbow Riches Bingo, and Bingo Millions, as well as speed, penny, roll on, and linked games.
