The Community
Charming Bingo does try and create a sense of community spirit but at the moment it seems a little thwarted by a lack of players. There’s only one bingo room that’s open on a regular basis, and that’s the ‘Lucky Stars’ bingo room where tickets are available for between £0.01 and £0.05. Despite these low prices we never found more than a dozen players in the room at any one time, and most of those were not of a chatty nature.
There are more players to be found in the ‘Fair & Square’ and ‘Pay Day Jackpot’ bingo rooms, but these games were only played periodically.
One feature we did like is the ‘trophy’ gamification element. Here you are given a task that allows you to unlock a trophy. This could be, for example, to make a deposit using PayPal. You win trophies to unlock levels, and each new level you attain you achieve one bonus spin on the Charming Bingo Mega Wheel.
There’s also a brief section on ‘Lucky Charms’ such as four-leaf clovers at the site, but that’s as hard as Charming Bingo works currently to create a community feel.

Our take on Charming Bingo
There’s lots that’s charming about Charming Bingo, but there is also lots that we are less than enamoured with. We do like the Mega Wheel deal (aside from the chance of winning absolutely nothing), and the fact that you can earn your additional spins on the wheel during your time at this site. The ‘trophy’ gamification system gets a thumbs up too.
We think that Charming Bingo needs to work on the community aspect. To put it simply, they need to have more bingo rooms open and more gaming options in order to attract more players.
So, with this in mind we are concluding our Charming Bingo review by awarding it three stars out of five. We feel Charming Bingo is heading in the right direction, but that there’s definite room for improvement!
