Musical Bingo Overview

Anything goes at Musical Bingo!

Musical Bingo
Musical Bingo

If you’re curious about Musical Bingo, what you need to know is: it’s one of the most entertaining bingo nights in the UK (well, London-based). Yes, Musical Bingo is more than your traditional bingo hall game: it’s bingo reimagined into a club night. Rather than playing with regular cards and calls, daub off music tracks.

The Musical Bingo team features a gathering of talented DJs and MCs who take charge of the events, so you could find yourself being entertained by anyone from retro classics lover Jerry Bless, to self-styled washed-up 80s pop star Quint Fontana. You might also meet drag superstar Kate Butch, Canadian stand-up comedian Evan Desmerais, or working men’s club pin-up Barbara Bingo.

What To Expect At Musical Bingo

You might find yourself in a dance-off with a fellow player, or even a twerk off!

Aside from the general rule of listen to the bangin’ music and mark off the songs on your card, you can expect outrageous costumes, stage invasions, confetti showers, and a whole lot of dancefloor action! It is a must-do event for anyone looking for a night out with a bang. Think flashing lights, popular hits surround sound, great prizes to take home, and a party-ready audience. If you get a matching song on your bingo card, daub, and daub every time you hear a song that appears on your bingo card. Hopefully you get a full house and get to shout the all-famous “bingo!”.

All the big-hitting tracks are there, like Get the Party Started by Pink, Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen, and In Da Club by Fifty Cent.

There are prizes up for grabs in the Musical Bingo sessions for completing one, two or three lines, and finally, the grand prize for completing a full house. If you’re lucky enough to win, you may also get the chance to choose from a range of multi choice mystery boxes rather than receiving a standard prize, and there will be opportunities to game your prize winnings on Musical Bingo’s ‘Killer Question’!

The main games of Musical Bingo take on a different theme of song choice in each round. The themes are often based on a particular era of music like the 80s, 90s, pop hits, guilty pleasures, etc but the DJs like to mix things up and pick songs based on the most random topics. Main sessions are dotted with various challenges and additional chances to win prizes.

Musical Bingo is held predominantly in North and central London, with a residency in Finsbury Park. Many venues host regular nights, plus players can find special themed and seasonal events. However, if you can’t get to London, Musical Bingo has a virtual variant called Musical Bingo Cribs which brings the experience of the live event right into your living room.

The idea has continued since the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns of 2020, becoming a mainstay at Musical Bingo’s East London studio, where DJs and hosts broadcast games to players who come together from their homes all over the world.

To take part in any Musical Bingo Cribs event, you simply click on the bingo sites link emailed to you after you purchase a ticket. On the day, one of the Musical Bingo DJs welcomes you into an online waiting room and talks you through the rules and prizes while waiting for everyone to arrive and prepare themselves a drink. Once everyone’s ready, the DJ will start spinning the tunes direct to your home while you mark them off on your card and aim to beat rival players who could be logging on from anywhere in the world!

Games & Prizes At Musical Bingo

Random prizes, anyone?

Prizes are awarded to the winners who successfully mark off 1 line, 2 lines and finally a full house on the card. Expect cash prizes and lots of fun (and random) prizes, too. Don’t be surprised if you walk away with a slow cooker. Or a bag of M&Ms, a game of Scrabble, a Pot Noodle, a blow up saxophone or even a Chinese Takeaway Jigsaw Puzzle. Well, we did say random prizes!

Food & Drink Options

Quench your thirst at Musical Bingo!

One of the best parts about Musical Bingo bingo is that many of the venues offer a full bar and food service so you can quench your thirst and wet those vocal chords. Each venue is different, so it’s best to check out the food and drink options at your specific event.

For example, events taking place at Dabbers Social Bingo feature table-service food, drinks, cocktails, and bar snacks. At this venue you can expect dishes such as slow cooked pork sandwiches, beef burgers, fried chicken, sweet potato fries, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.

The tombola table is a British classic, a national institution. And part of what makes it so beloved is that the prizes are, frankly, a lottery. A novelty pen that doesn’t work. A pack of nappies. A cuddly toy. A jar of chutney with a worryingly old best-before date. Whether at your local summer fair or a bingo hall, there’s always a collection of random items (this is key) atop…

Brits are turning to VPNs in huge numbers to access illegal gambling sites, racking up an estimated 150-200 million minutes on dodgy casinos in January 2026 alone. And seriously risking their money in the process.
