Buzz Bingo: Bridging Clubs and Online

Buzz Bingo won Best Playtech Bingo Site and credited their unique position straddling both clubs and online spaces.
“The way that we can bring together both clubs and online bingo I think is very much part of our success.”

And there’s plenty more on the horizon.
“There’s lots to come from Buzz Bingo, we are innovating all the time constantly within the retail space and digital space.
“I don’t want to give away too many secrets. But we do want to be back here next year.”
Paddy Power: Sense of Mischief

Paddy Power won Best Advertising and attributed the win to their distinctive personality.
“I think we are just known for our sense of mischief in the market and I think that’s something that we’ve never lost.
“Especially when it comes to gaming and in particular bingo, it’s just really enjoyable for us to stand out in that market and just have a bit of craic at the end of the day.”
What’s Coming Next:
We know the next advertising campaigns will be memorable. Paddy Power said they would ensure they combine the mischief with authenticity.
“It’s just about being authentic and maintaining that brand tone of voice and that really strong identity we’re known for with both Irish and UK customers.”
Bet365: Player-First Focus
Bet365 were thrilled with the recognition from voters, following their win for Best Casino Site.
“Yeah, it’s great, absolutely amazing. Thank you to everyone that voted for us.”
What’s Coming Next:
Their plan was to keep the formula simple and player-focused and to “continue doing what we’re doing”.
Playtech: Customers Make the Brand
Playtech reflected on what makes bingo unique in the wider gaming landscape.
“What makes bingo so special is the sense of connection it creates among players. It is a game rooted in community with a shared experience that is the backbone to any good bingo brand.”
“I think the customers make the brand.”
What’s Coming Next:
Players can expect new releases throughout the year ahead, with Playtech promising innovation and new products.
They didn’t reveal any details but said there were “exciting things coming”.
A Love Letter to the Bingo Community

Industry veteran and Best Bingo Caller nominee Chris Ashton (pictured above with Nicola McLean and Cheryl Baker) shared what keeps him passionate about UK bingo. And it seemed fitting he have the final word:
“Well, what I actually love is, because I’ve been in bingo for so many years, I just love the community.
“Bingo has such a great community. Everyone talks, everyone laughs. They’re on the socials. Women who play bingo are the strongest women in the world.”
From feel-good experiences and player rewards to slot legends; the WhichBingo Awards again showcased the best bingo and casino sites.
With innovation promised across the board, next year’s awards already look set to be another exciting one.
