There are some great bonus features to enjoy in this slot game including multiple wilds, a trick or treat bonus game, an ID Parade feature and a fortune spins mode.

If you think this could be the slot game for you, carry on reading our Cops ‘n’ Robbers Big Money Trick or Treat review for all the information you need to know about this game.

How to Play

Once your bet is set, hit the white arrow button to send the reels tumbling. Bets per spin range from just 20p to £80.00. Winning combinations are formed by landing three or more matching symbols across a payline, starting from the leftmost reel.

The symbols on the reels of this game are:

  • 10
  • J
  • Q
  • K
  • Bags of treats
  • Police car
  • Stacks of money
  • Police car light
  • Trick or Treat
  • Pumpkin bonus
  • Wolf behind bars wild
  • Zombie cop wild
  • Wolf robber wild

Jackpot

In the base game, the highest value symbols on the reels are the Trick or Treat symbol and the wilds. Landing five in a winning combo can award up to 40x your stake. With the special features in play, there is the chance to win up to 3,125x your stake or £500,000.

Special Features

There are four special features in this slot game including multiple wild symbols, fortune spins, a trick or treat bonus feature and an ID parade feature.

There are multiple wild symbols in the Cops ‘n’ Robbers Big Money Trick or Treat game. The two wolf symbols are wild and will replace other symbols on the reels to help for new winning combinations and potentially award larger cash prizes. These symbols can also appear in the fortune spins and the trick or treat bonus. There is also a cop wild symbol which only appears in the trick or treat bonus feature.

Watch out for the pumpkin bonus symbol landing on the reels as this is the key to triggering the trick or treat bonus feature. The more bonus symbols you land, the higher your starting round multiplier will be:

  • 3 pumpkin bonus symbols – 1x
  • 4 pumpkin bonus symbols – 2x
  • 5 pumpkin bonus symbols – 3x

Above the reels, players will spot a progressive trail of multipliers which ranges from 2x to 10x. The robber symbol will collect the bags of candy and acts as a cash collector. The bags of candy can have values attached between 1x and 100x. These symbols help the robber move along the trail and when he reaches another multiplier, any subsequent bags of candy collected will be multiplied by that value. The cop symbols collected will also help the zombie cop progress along the trail. Whenever there is more than one zombie cop or robber symbol on the reels, each will progress one position on the trail for each symbol that lands on the reels. When the cop catches the robber, the feature ends.

When the robber is caught by the cop during the trick or treat bonus feature, the ID Parade will begin. Three criminal characters then appear on screen as part of the line up and the light will shine on each before eventually stopping at one. That prize will then be awarded to the player:

  • Bert – the bonus ends and any winnings are awarded
  • Sid – the bonus feature continues with the cop pushed back two positions
  • Vic – The bonus feature continues with the robber ahead at the next multiplier

During the base game, players will have the option to switch to the fortune spins mode. During this feature, all symbols except the candy bags, robbers and bonus symbols are removed from the reels. The robber will appear, still acting as a wild symbol and a cash collector, to pick up the candy bag symbol values. The candy bag values can be 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x or 100x.

Graphics and Sounds

If you have played any previous Cops ‘n’ Robbers games, you will already know what to expect from this latest release. However, there is a fun and spooky element added to this Trick or Treat version of the game. The city skyline looms in the background with a full moon lighting up your reels. Other spooky elements include a tombstone and metal spikes around the reels. On the reels, the low value symbols are your standard playing card symbols in a variety of bright colours while the higher value symbols include a police car, bags of candy, werewolves, cops, police cars, stacks of cash with spiders crawling over them and a trick or treat sign. There is not much of a soundtrack to this game, just the sound of the reels turning but many players will already play on mute when spinning the reels of slots anyway.

Conclusion

For those who love the previous games in the Cops ‘n’ Robbers series, they are sure to enjoy this latest spooky addition which has been launched just in time for Halloween. The graphics are still quite basic but the range of bonus features is great and offers more than just your standard wilds, scatters and free spins. Players will enjoy the cool trick or treat bonus game and watching the wolf robber collect his candy! With wins of up to 3,125x your stake up for grabs, there are definitely more treats than tricks available in this awesome slot game.
