The UK version of Deal or No Deal first appeared on our TV screens in 2005 while the American game show of the same name also premiered the same year. Both formats were inspired by the original Dutch TV show. However, our version uses red boxes and the US version uses silver cases.

As Playtech/Virtue Fusion has already invented a 90-ball Deal or No Deal bingo game that is based on the UK show, Entain decided to go down the American route, and so, you’ll find that Entain’s version uses a gold-and-black studio set with silver cases to distinguish it from Playtech’s version.

Despite the differences in appearance, both games use a similar format and rules.

You can play Entain’s Deal or No Deal Bingo 90 around the clock for as little as 15p per ticket.

There are plenty of cash prizes up for grabs, and if you’re lucky enough to claim a full house, you get to play the thrilling feature game.

How to play

First, you’ll need to buy your tickets using the control panel at the bottom of the game screen. You can buy between 1 and 48 tickets for every game.

At the beginning of each game, 22 cash prizes are randomly assigned to the 22 silver briefcases, and their values are determined by the cost of the bingo tickets. As the cases start off closed, you don’t know how much money they contain.

Next, one of the cases is chosen to be the players’ briefcase after which the remaining 21 cases are opened to reveal a number from 1 to 90.

Once the game gets underway, bingo balls are randomly drawn as per a typical 90-ball bingo game. However, if a number is drawn that also appears on one of the cases, that case will be unlocked to reveal a cash amount from the Deal or No Deal prize board. Afterwards, the respective prize amount is removed from the board.

There are 3 ways that you can win prizes in every Deal or No Deal 90 game – one line, two lines and a full house. To get a full house, you must mark off all the numbers on a single ticket.

Whoever claims the full house is then invited to play the next stage of the game while all the other players can sit back and watch what happens next.

The Banker makes the winner an offer which they can either choose to accept or reject in favour of the players’ suitcase which contains a random cash amount. By looking at the amounts that are left on the prize board, the winner has a better chance of knowing what the value of the players’ case might be.

Other roomies can get involved by voting Deal or No Deal.

Regardless of whether the winner takes The Banker’s offer or the players case, the feature prize is awarded on top of the full house prize.

Jackpot

Entain’s Deal or No Deal 90 Bingo games do not offer any additional jackpots.

Graphics and Sounds

Your purchased tickets are presented along the bottom of the screen while the prize board and silver suitcases appear in the centre. At the top of the screen, you can see how much time is left before the next game starts, the total prize pool amount and the number of roomies that are present.

Via the Settings button, you can alter the size of your tickets, choose a dabber shape and colour, choose manual or auto dabbing and sorting, adjust the sound settings and change chat settings and notifications.

The music is much more upbeat than what we are used to with the UK version.

Conclusion

Entain’s Deal or No Deal 90 Bingo is an attractively packaged game that uses a simple yet fun format. As a 90-ball game, there are more prizes on offer than through 75-ball games, and the addition of the feature round where The Banker makes his offer ensures that everyone is fully engaged until the very end.

You can check out Entain’s Deal or No Deal 90 Bingo at brands like Foxy Bingo, Gala Bingo and Ladbrokes Bingo – which also offer operator-exclusive bingo variants such as Fluffy Favourites Bingo, Cashout Bingo and Carers UK Bingo.
