You see it: Los Vegas? You read it again. Los? Not Las?
Nope, it’s not a typo. Los Vegas is a new casino site in the UK and as they say on their website; ‘Wrong Spelling, Right Attitude’.
And at WhichBingo we’re big fans of a site that can have a bit of fun.
So Why “Los”?
First, we need to give you a quick Spanish and history lesson.
In Spanish, las and los are both versions of “the” – with las being the feminine and los being the masculine. And ‘Vegas’ translates to meadow or fertile land.

The name Las Vegas refers to the fact that Spanish explorers found the area had natural water sources and fertile land, despite being in the desert.
So while Los Vegas is a tiny twist that does a lot of heavy lifting. In a world where new casino sites seem to clone each other, picking a name that makes you do a double-take is a bold move.
Think about it: Häagen-Dazs sounds Scandinavian but was invented in New York. Subway doesn’t serve anything from the underground. Brands play with expectation all the time, and the ones that do it with a wink tend to stick in your memory.

A Fresh Name Should Mean a Fresh Approach
Here’s the thing though, a clever name only gets you so far. What actually matters is what’s behind it.

Los Vegas launched in late 2025 with a solid game library, a clean and easy-to-navigate site, a decent welcome offers, as well as a nice cashback deal.
But here’s what we’d encourage you to do, regardless of which casino you’re exploring: treat a new site as a proper fresh start. Not just for them, for you too.
Before you deposit a single penny, take five minutes to:
- Set a deposit limit; the smartest players all set a budget
- Try the session timer; so you can track how long you have been playing
- Read the bonus terms; always know exactly what you’re getting, expiry dates, and any other conditions
A new casino with a new name is the perfect excuse to build better habits from the ground up.
Making Their Mark: WhichBingo Awards Sponsor
Here at WhichBingo, we’re always excited to see fresh faces stepping up and Los Vegas has done exactly that by coming on board as a sponsor of the WhichBingo Awards.

For us, the Awards are about shining a light on the very best the industry has to offer.
Unfortunately Los Vegas was not launched in time to be nominated this year, but you can bet they’ll be contenders next year.
You can cast your vote in the WhichBingo Awards here.
