Carlton Bingo Hall

With a network spanning ten Bingo Clubs across Scotland, Carlton Bingo is a cornerstone of bingo entertainment in the region. Headquartered in Inverness, the brand stays grounded by focusing on its communities. Whether it’s a city centre-based large bingo club or a more intimate club in a local town, Carlton Bingo is a great local spot to shout “bingo!”.

Carlton Bingo live is a 10-venue bingo brand in Scotland started in 1998 by Peter Perrins, George Carter, Brian King, and Chris Barr. Part of the National Bingo Game, Carlton prides itself on its community-feel, traditional charm and hospitality.

Let’s look at what the popular bingo brands offer.

FACILITIES AT CARLTON BINGO LIVE

All 10 Carlton Bingo venues offer fruit machines, a licensed bar, hot and cold meals, snacks, parking and/or good transport links, and ample seating for the thousands who visit weekly. The brand has a retro feel to it in terms of branding and physical locations – in fact, Carlton Bingo Partick was a dance hall years ago.

FOOD MENU

There’s an extensive food menu on offer – all cooked to order and delivered to your table.

Grab a breakfast roll for £2.50 or a light bite – choose from soup (£3.50), a two-filling jacket potato for £5.40, or a toasted panini for £5.20. Add chips to your plate for an extra £1.40.

Maybe you fancy a loaded plate of chips or nachos with your favourite topping? Only £4.50. Or satisfy your tummy rumbles with a traditional favourite which, for around £7, you can choose from a great selection including fish & chips, burger and chips, scampi and chips, a fried stack, macaroni cheese, curry, and more.

The famous Carlton Savers are smaller portions at value prices. If you’re not sweet enough already, there’s hot puddings for £4.50 or ice cream.

Don’t forget to check out the varied cocktail menu (sharing pitchers for £12) and wine list. A 750ml bottle will set you back 12.20 but there’s a 187ml mini for £4.30.

Join Carlton Bingo free and choose either the popular traditional paper option or go the just-as-popular electronic route and pick up a tablet when you visit. There’s tons of promotions available throughout the week.

THE FUTURE OF CARLTON BINGO LIVE

Carlton Bingo Hall

This is a bingo company that leads the industry, not follows, and has made plans for the future. Back in 2022 Carlton Bingo became the first gaming company in the UK to design a Employee Ownership Trust. Considered an employee takeover, by transferring ownership and decision-making power to the employees, it aligns their interests with the long-term success and stability of the company.

George Carter, one of the four major shareholders said: “..we are very much like a family business here, so the sale to an EOT fitted exactly with what we wanted. We have to wait a few years to realise our full value, but we judged that to be a risk worth taking to preserve all that’s good about Carlton for our customers and our staff.”
