A Quick Look at Dotty Bingo

Dotty Bingo UK is a popular bingo site that is part of the Broadway Gaming group (which also includes Bingo Diamond and Glossy Bingo). The site is powered by Microgaming, one of the biggest names in the industry, and you have a choice of playing in its networked rooms (like the Sapphire Room), or you can play in the Broadway Room, an exclusive bingo room that is available only at Broadway Gaming sites.

Bonuses & Promotions

The Welcome Offer

  • Deposit £10, play £40 and get 100 Spins
  • 50x wagering requirement

As part of the new player offer at Dotty Bingo, when you make a first deposit of £10 your bankroll is automatically boosted to £40, accompanied by 100 spins on the Microgaming slot game Lucky Links. This bonus is for play on Dotty Bingo slots and casino games, but you should note that only deposits made with a debit or credit card are eligible to claim this bonus.

The signup offer comes with a 50x wagering requirement, and you have two days in which to clear the bonus and to play your 100 spins. If you claim the full bonus amount of £100, you need to wager a total of £5,000 before you can cash out any of the bonus or winnings from it.

Until the wagering requirement is met, the maximum bet you can make on slots or casino games is £6.25. Most slot games contribute to the wagering requirement 100% (see the T&Cs for exceptions), with roulette and blackjack contributing 8%, but no other games clear the bonus.

On the whole, this is a new player offer that will probably appeal to bingo players who like to play slots occasionally, rather than the hardcore slot player. If you are the bingo player who likes to dabble in online slots as side games, or the newbie who hasn’t really tried slots or casino games before, this is an accessible introductory offer.

*50x bonus wagering required, max bet £6.25 until completed. Game weighting applies. 2 day expiry for bonuses. eWallets excluded. T&Cs apply. Play Responsibly. Minimum deposit of £10, Play with £40 and Get 100 Free Spins. 300% Bonus up to £100 on Bingo. Offer must be claimed within 48 hrs of you registering an account.

Ongoing Specials & VIP Program

Dotty Bingo looks after its regular players very well through the Dotty Rewards loyalty programme. You automatically become a member of the programme as soon as you sign up, and then the rewards start flowing. There are 5 levels of membership to progress through. At each level, the rewards get bigger and better.

Games & Software

The bingo games, slots and casino games are all powered by Microgaming, so this means you can play 90 ball and 75 ball bingo which are played across a range of different sites. This results in not only more players, but bigger jackpots too! Choose from the Spinner Room, the Friendship Room and the Rainbow Room to join in these games.

Dotty Bingo also features the Broadway room, an exclusive room that can only be accessed by players who are members of Broadway Gaming sites, such as Glossy Bingo, Butlers Bingo, Rosy Bingo and Bingo Diamond.

There are different ticket prices available in each of the rooms, and you also have a choice as to how many tickets you can play at any one time. Games start every few minutes, so you never have to wait long for the action to begin.

You can also play scheduled games, which have fixed starting times and let you buy your tickets in advance. This means you’re still in the thick of the action even if you aren’t logged on when the game is actually being played.

Slots & Casinos

If you want a break from bingo or like to have a side game on the go, there is a choice of Dotty Bingo slots and casino games. These include video slots, themed slots, progressive jackpot slots, and while the number of games on offer isn’t enormous, there is still plenty of variety when it comes to game styles, themes and special bonus rounds.

The Dotty Bingo casino also features table and card games, including classics like blackjack and roulette, plus table poker and video poker games as well.

How to Deposit & Cash Out

Depositing

The deposit options at Dotty Bingo UK players can use is relatively limited, as only Skrill and Neteller e-wallets, plus PaySafe Card pre-paid card, can be used alongside credit and debit cards (please note that only deposits made by cards are eligible for the new player offer). Player accounts are operated in GBP, and there are no fees for making deposits. When you deposit funds, they are available to play with immediately.

Cashing out

Withdrawal requests are generally processed within three business days and there are no fees for withdrawals of £20 or more (for a withdrawal amount less than this, you will be charged £3). You will receive your money via the same method you used to deposit, except for PaySafe Card users, who will get their money via cheque.

In terms of the overall quality of the banking options, it would be helpful if PayPal was included, although most players should be able to find an option that works for them. The withdrawal times are about the industry average, but as a gentle reminder, it’s always a good idea to have all of your ID and documentation ready to go before you make a withdrawal request, as not having the paperwork in place is the most common cause of delayed payouts.

The Community

In our experience of playing here, we’ve always found the chat room hosts and moderators to be pretty entertaining and helpful. This can make a real difference to the overall gaming experience, and the hosts we’ve encountered know how to welcome new players, give encouragement, and create a friendly atmosphere for all.

If you want to engage beyond the site itself, the Facebook page (@dottybingo) is always a good place to start. It’s not quite as active or lively as some other sites, but it is nevertheless a good way to keep informed and up to date. Plus, you can use Facebook Messenger as a way to get in touch with customer services.

In terms of community, there is however one disappointing aspect. You can’t access the games lobby at Dotty Casino unless you’ve signed up and become a member. This would seem to be something of a strange policy and one that could put off new players, as you can’t see for yourself the games that are available. If we were going to change anything here, this would probably be the first thing.

Take Dotty Bingo with You

One of the advantages of playing here is that you can enjoy bingo and slots at the Dotty Bingo mobile site on any device. There is no app to download and install, as all the games are HTML5 and browser-based, which means you can play on an Android smartphone or tablet, Apple iPhone or iPad, or on any type of phone that has a browser and can connect to the internet.

In terms of the overall design and UI, the Dotty Bingo app benefits from its simplicity which means it translates very well to the smaller screens of mobile and tablets. The game screens make it easy to keep up with your progress, and you always know when you are 1TG or 2TG, and how many other players are on the verge of a win at the same time.

The mobile site also enables you to sign up for an account, make deposits and withdrawals, and contact customer support, so this functionality, combined with the game quality, means the overall gaming experience on a mobile phone is largely comparable to playing on your laptop or desktop PC.

Our take on Dotty Bingo

While there aren’t as many rooms here as you might find at other sites, we think the combination of big Microgaming networked games alongside the more exclusive Broadway Gaming rooms is a good mix. However, it is the case that if you’re looking for variations of the game beyond 90 ball and 75 ball bingo, then you might want to consider other sites. The slots and casino games, however, are all of the highest quality and so definitely add to the overall gaming experience here.

In terms of the atmosphere and community feel of the site, the fact that you can’t access the games lobby without an account is a disappointing feature and would seem to be a discouragement to potential new players. However, once you are in the site, the games are played in a good spirit with lively and entertaining hosts, and this makes it an enjoyable place to play.

Given all of this, our final Dotty Bingo review verdict is 4 stars out of 5.

Have your say!

We’re keen to hear from anyone out there who has played here, so please feel free to leave us your comments. If you feel that you have more to say, we would welcome your own Dotty Bingo review.

Agree with previous reviewers. This site appears to like to take your money but does not adhere to the promises made at joining. Try another site if you want fair.

Hi. I joined dotty bingo a few days ago – what a joke! Just be careful – on joining I got my bonus happy with that then the fun begins. Every day they will text u and email just to make sure u get what they are sending u. Some times they will give u free money or free spins on a machine – this week I got 25 free spins and I won £261! wow I thought I’ll withdraw that. No chance, it not let me do it. Strange I thought, so I emailed customers service and they replied and said I had to complete my wager. So I want back on the site and spent it and after I spent it I got another email saying there was no wager required! I think they trick u into spending it and my advice is you should spend your money elsewhere. I have since closed my account.

The games are fine, but the problem arises when withdrawal is requested it’s left pending and reversible for too long, then after 2 days you get email saying we need to verify you. Again this takes time as you go back and forth. So the 3-5 days is misleading. You are then given the spiell of protection and have you enough money to gamble really? This stinks of delaying tactics in the hope you reverse and give them back.

I have recently started playing on Dotty Bingo. I was initially reluctant to join due to the high proportion of negative reviews. I decided to take a risk and I am glad that I did, I have not had any of the problems mentioned in the reviews.
I have had a couple of withdrawals which have been settled very quickly. I have also used the help function that received negative comments, however, I have used live help and found the staff to be helpful and efficient.
I have one slight criticism in that I wold like to have the opportunity to opt out of bonuses each time I deposit or I am notified of a bonus by email, without having to email in rejecting the bonus and have to wait for a response before I can play. Otherwise the bonus and associated wagering requirements are automatically applied.
Overall an enjoyable site to play on.

They find many reason not to pay you. Told they do not accept scanned docs, will not accept online bills and there is about 6-7 casinos in the group ie lucky 247, casino of dreams – more like a bad night mare.
If you self exclude they do no checks and let you join again so stay clear or you will be sorry you have been warned

Do not join this site if you dont want to lose your own money. I joined this site, deposited £50 managed to win £260 on slots, tried to withdrawl and couldnt. Contacted the help chat and they told me i didnt meet the wagering requirements, You have to wager five times the amount you deposited to be able to withdrawl your winnings by your own money. This is an absolute DISGRACE!! So….. i had to wager 250 pounds!! I did this and ended up walking away with 50 pounds , absolute joke of a site.

Truly terrible bingo site, worst I’ve ever encountered by far.
Restricted to the number of tickets you can buy with bonus balance, sometimes only 6 tickets allowed. Never had a restriction on tickets with any other site.
Most importantly, the bonus wagering tied to the first deposit remains intact on the account even when the entire first deposit and bonus has been lost. If you make further deposits, you are still required to complete the full wagering requirement, even though you made no profit from the first deposit and bonus.
In my case, still had about £180 to wager so my wins with my own deposited funds were not available for withdrawal. This seems totally unfair and can have no upside for the player, obviously would not have deposited if I realised the terms for the bonus were somehow still intact even after making a fresh deposit.
Customer services refuse to comment or respond to my queries.
Avoid this awful site at all costs.

Today I joined and deposited, completed all relevant required info. I then go onto site to play and it doesn’t allow me to play. After live chats to Rose who just keeps repeating the same nonsense I still am unable to play. I then request the return of my money because a bingo site where I can’t play bingo is no good to anybody. I am told I have to request my money back via e-mail. Do not touch this bingo site. The customer service is non existent. They now have 50 of my money which my credit card company are going to get back because they won’t return it.

I wouldn’t rate this site any stars if I’m honest. Everytime i live chatted them I’ve not had help with what I needed help with, also i met my wagering requirements, but wasn’t aloud to withdraw to my bank card unless I deposited with my bank card after not long depositing and meeting my wager requirements and winning money. I think that’s ridiculous.. i had to open an account with neteller just to withdraw to. When really you should be able to withdraw to your bank account without a doubt.

Yours is the first site I have used that uses such a system and I have used online sites for many years. Never before have I had to continue to meet wagering requirements after losing all of my initial deposit.
People don’t read t and c’s as thoroughly as they should and I believe your site is preying on that as your requirement is bit outside the norm!
I don’t care what you say, I believe it is a underhand way of going about your business. I will not use the site again and would urge others to go elsewhere until you make your system more transparent!

So, I’m new to the bingo world and not impressed. Tell me if you think I’m wrong!
I took advantage of the Dotty bingo offer and after a relatively enjoyable evening I lost all my £14.
The following day I made a second deposit of £25-00 and managed to make a cash balance of about £52-00. I couldn’t see a facility to withdraw and so contacted the online chat. I was told the wagering requirements from my initial deposit hadn’t been met and so I wasn’t allowed to withdraw anything.
That surely shouldn’t be right. My second deposit didn’t have a bonus attached to it so I should be able to withdraw anything that accumulates from that deposit!

Bless you, as new to the bingo world, never accept a bonus !!!! goes up to 80% of your initial depo (ie depo 10, requires £800 wagered before you can withdraw?

ID may be important, but I had to pay for ID that I already has because it wasn’t good enough for your site.
As for friendly customer support team, that has got to be the best joke I’ve heard this year. I think you need to go back to the drawing board, rethink the site and retrain the customer service advisors and live chat hosts. Feel for anyone being taken in on your site.

I joined Dotty Bingo yesterday and have to say the site is very friendly, the 2 chat hosts iv spoken to are winegum and sherbert they are lovely, really helpful with questions too.. thanks for making me welcome x
The chat games are fun too, prize money is really good as well and a newbie room for new players which is open for 5 days after joining where you can win bonus money as well as free spins and free tickets to other game rooms.
I will definitely be back tomorrow for the newbie room.
On my first deposit i was a little confused about how wagering worked, but I got the hang of it after Live Help assisted me and explained it, very helpful and patient with my questions.

Overall, I like it here.. keep up the good work. Happy to give my username princess321

Avoid site I promise you. The free money you get if u don’t meet the wagering requirements and you spend all the money. When you come to top up again without bonus you will still need to complete the original wagering requirements with your money. That is just plain not fair to people.

i played the bandit and i wan over 20 pounds. wow i thought so in my account i had 10 40 and 20 pounds and something. wow i thought that a lot of money to play bingo. i started to play bingo i hardly wan – the bingo is c^^p trust me, they all are. i i also noticed that u could only have 24 tickets at a time, but i will tell u this my money went very very fast. i really still cant work this out to be honest.
what i am saying is the truth something dont add up i noticed i had 12 pounds in my account and it was frozen. i messaged them and they said that will stay there until i meet my wager. what wager? in my opinion they let u join and they dont care what u spend as long as u dont win they really dont care.
today i have asked them to close my account and they were very funny with me for some reason found that strange to this has put me off joining any site on the net as i know think they will be all the same.

Hi milley2. We always stress how important it is to check terms and conditions before starting to play at a site that is new to you. It is true that the Microgaming sites terms are a little more complicated, but there is nothing underhand or untoward about this site.

Only interested in being nice if you deposit and not try to withdraw! Don’t use this site.

I have had the same problem today and all I get is being told to log on through safari as it is working, I use safari and get the blank screen but when i tell them this i get told to log on through safari as its working again, totally useless
Then when you tell them you can’t play so I want my money back you have to contact via e-mail to see if they will give it back.

I signed up at Dotty BIngo and spent my initial £10, before getting the bonus, however, I won about £12…which was a good start.
Then the nightmare begun, they emailed to say they had closed my account!! Claiming I was on a self excluded list, which I was not.
They then refused to give me any of my winnings back, because ‘I had closed the account’. Despite them closing it.
My friend opened an account at the same time, and they had exactly the same outcome
Please save your money avoid this site and look elsewhere, there’s so many decent bingo sites out there, this is definitely not one of them!!

I have played at Dotty Bingo for some time now. I enjoy playing the slots on this site and there is a good variety. I think it is unfair that you can only make one withdrawal per week. Also, they have a habit of leaving your money pending (in case you want to reverse it), Also, once they have told you they have processed it they sometimes then reverse it meaning you have to start the process all over again. This is not good for people that find it difficult not to continue playing and then can end up losing all their winnings.

I have since closed my account and will now stick to William Hill or Jackpotjoy who I believe are much fairer with their customers.

Well dotty bingo what can I say but Please don`t go wasting your money, I received a letter asking me to join so I did, signed up and deposited £20 received £50 bingo bonus+50 yes 50 free spins on Santa`s Wilde ride slot. won £9 something less said about that the better, right onto the bingo 1 room open very low pots with I found yet again same 3 players scooping the wins up,
I pre-bought every game of bingo my £70 would buy I actually did win 1 full house £11.29 (with the bonus money you are restricted to buying only so many tickets per game 24 max on some games and 12max on others) there are always around 49 to 53,54 members playing in this only room and max tickets are 96 a complete utter waste of time.
If I were you stick to Tombola or a well known brand, if you do decide to play at Dotty Bingo you will need a leprechaun sat on your knee or a magic wand to wave lol.

I dont even know where to start about Dotty Bingo, but at first thought this was a great little site….until I wanted to withdraw. From withdrawal to actually receiving it can take up to 2 weeks. Then when I was lucky enough to win again and wanted to withdraw it was refused as you can only withdraw once a week!!! Quite happy for you to deposit several times a day, but trying to get anything out? Unless you have lots of patience, I would forget it!

Hello. Joined Dotty Bingo after seeing a new site appear. The bonus was good for registering, getting one hundred free spins on slots and 40.00 bonus for 10.00 deposit. The wagering very good just x4 and had a good win on there bingo. Over all a great site and sotware from Microgaming which has improved. The customer service was very good as well. All questions answered on live chat and email. Give it a go.

I have played lots of bingo sites and this another i will not be playing again. The bonus money is set in such a way that if you win off your original deposit there is no option to forefit the bonus money so you can’t withdraw until you’ve played through the 5x wagering requirements. 5x isn’t so bad, but the games you can play on are very limited when it comes to real money and bonus money. They have games with £5 and £10 pots but they don’t change even if the number of players increases dramatically. Also there are only 3 games to choose from most of the time and even the chat games have wagering requirements on the 20p or £1 you win. Dotty Bingo is a sister site to a few sites that use this way of using bonus money or bonus bucks in a way that makes it virtually impossible to win on. I do not reccomend this site and that’s not because i’ve lost my money, as i’m still up from the slots, but it will take a big win for me to be able to clear the wagering.

After reading the reviews I decided to try tDotty Bingo. A good first bonus, and I deposited a fiver and got 20 quid free, although after playing the total 25 quid and not even getting a share of a line, I wont be going back there.

It seemed quite fast to start off with, but you do get used to it, however when someone wins a line it doesn’t pause like other sites, it just carries straight on to 2 lines, so don’t blink or you might miss it.

The CM was friendly as were the people on there, made you feel welcome and we had a giggle, but I’m afraid it’s not my type of site, money not very good, only about 11 players in the bingo 75 room and because the games are called so fast, you could get through quite a bit of money on there just chasing a win. Not many rooms and most people were in the one room and there were still only between 50-60 people in there.

if you prefer a small friendly site rather than the big ones, then you may like this one, just remember its fast and takes some getting used to.
