Eurovision 2026: Dates, Location & What to Expect

The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be held at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna and you can expect a full week of music, glitter and chaos on the run up to the big day.

On Sunday 10th May 2026, the Opening Ceremony kicks off at the beautiful Rathausplatz, before the competition heats up with the first of the semi-finals on Tuesday 12th May. This is followed by the second semi-final on Thursday 14th May. The exciting Grand Final can be enjoyed on Saturday 16th May 2026, where thirty five countries will battle it out to be crowned the 2026 winner!

Host country Austria won in 2025 with the song ‘Wasted Love’ by JJ. This marks Vienna’s return to hosting the contest after it previously did so in 1967 and 2015.

There is plenty for UK fans to get excited about. This year’s entry comes from Sam Battle, better known as Look Mum No Computer, with his brilliantly bonkers song Eins Zwei Drei. The UK act is looking forward to bringing something completely different to the stage as he is a synth inventor and Guinness World Record holder for the world’s largest drone synthesiser.

(Thanks to the UK’s place in the Big 5, we are straight through to the Grand Final with no nail-biting semi-final required).

Cheryl Baker’s Eurovision 2026 Predictions

Eurovision royalty Cheryl Baker

Who better to get Eurovision Song Contest predictions from that Eurovision royalty, Cheryl Baker.

As part of Bucks Fizz, she won the contest back in 1981 with the unforgettable hit song ‘Making Your Mind Up’. This iconic performance was later voted the greatest British entry of all time by BBC Radio 2 listeners. Decades later, she is still a devoted fan of the contest and knows exactly what a winner looks like!

So, with the contest heading to Vienna, we wonder if Cheryl could predict who could take the crown this year in the Grand Final.

Cheryl on the UK entry

We’ve got a bit of history with Eurovision royalty at WhichBingo. Cheryl joined us at the Awards in Gibraltar last year, and she’s back on board again on 13th May.

We’ve asked her for her take on this year’s contest and the UK entry. Watch this space for her predictions.

Cheryl’s tip to win

Amongst all of this contest buzz, Cheryl Baker will be at the WhichBingo Awards 2026 on the 13th May in between the two semi-finals where we will ask her a tip to win.

Who’s Going to Win Eurovision 2026?

Every year we all pick our favourites before a single note’s been sung in the final, and this year’s no different. Here’s who the fans are tipping for Vienna.

Finland is the one to watch. Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen have been sitting at the top of fan polls for weeks with their track Liekinheitin. It’s a rock-classical-dance fusion that shouldn’t work but absolutely does.

France is right behind them. Monroe’s ballad Regarde! has the kind of emotional punch that juries tend to love, and as one of the Big 5, they skip the semi-finals entirely.

Denmark has been quietly building momentum too. Søren Torpegaard Lund’s entry has a haunting quality that could surprise everyone on the night.

And then there’s the UK. Sam Battle’s Eins Zwei Drei is gloriously weird, and in a contest that rewards standing out, that might just be enough to turn heads.

Of course, predictions and Eurovision don’t always mix. That’s half the fun. If you’re looking for something to play in the lead-up to the Grand Final, we’ve rounded up the latest free spins offers with no deposit needed
