Newzbitez - Another Small Bingo Business Goes Bust

Newzbitez – Another Small Bingo Business Goes Bust

Another week and another announcement of a small independent bingo business that is no longer able to continue in business as footfall, well, falls away. Premier Bingo, which operated in Alloa, Perth and Cowdenbeath, ceased trading literally overnight and announce the club closures on their Facebook pages to patrons.

The post read, “Due to circumstances outwith our control, we regret to announce that Premier Bingo will cease trading immediately. All clubs are now closed and the company is in administration.

“We will make a statement after this process has finished.”

While bigger chains are just about weathering the storm of higher prices reducing footfall by closing a few poorer performing outlets, small chains like Premier and Majestic Bingo do not have a cushion and we are losing some long established names from the high street.
