Episode one starts with a bang – featuring none other than The Only Way Is Essex legend Bobby Norris at drag bingo.
“You gotta love a bit of drag and bingo,” Norris said, as he and Dabbing Out host Charlie Shakespeare play bingo at Fanny Galore’s Big Bingo Party.
It’s a real Essex affair as Norris dabs with Fanny Galore – the ‘hostess with the mostest and the tart with a heart’ – known for her Essex charm and infectious energy, on a night of laughter, glamour, and, of course, plenty of bingo.

From Liverpool to Brighton Beach: What to Expect in Series 3
Hosted by our charismatic Charlie Shakespeare, series 3 of Dabbing Out visits five diverse bingo locations across the UK: Bromley, Bristol, Brighton, London, and Liverpool.
An exciting addition to Series 3 is Dabbing Out’s first outdoor bingo event.
“There’s nothing like dabbing numbers and partying under the sunset on Brighton beach,” Charlie said.
Each episode promises to reveal unique takes on the classic game, delving into the vibrant and often outrageous party bingo scene.
“We’re still finding new and unique party bingo events. After twenty events, this year was my favourite to film!” Charlie said.
“All episodes in this series lead toward an epic finale at Bongo’s Bingo‘s purpose built venue in Liverpool.
“We met and interviewed dozens of great characters, we raved into the night, and I even got on the floor to do ‘the crab’.”
This series highlights the diverse and often surprising forms modern bingo takes. From musical bingo extravaganzas to outdoor events and character-led parties, Dabbing Out is a testament to bingo’s enduring appeal and its clever reinvention for a contemporary audience.
And just like the in-person events featured, online bingo continues to evolve from quirky themes to surprising bingo bonuses that reflect the same playful energy.
