If Mum’s the type who appreciates a bit of theatre with her bingo, Hijingo is worth the trip. It’s a multi-sensory experience on Worship Street in Shoreditch — stadium lighting, floor-to-ceiling screens, a 360° sound system and their signature Hijingobots doing choreographed dances between rounds. The production team has previously worked on stage shows for Beyoncé, which tells you something.

St Patrick’s Day is a Tuesday this year, which means the celebrations stretch out nicely across the weekend before. Whether you want a big night on the 14th or you’re saving yourself for the day itself, there’s plenty going on.
