What do a TikTok star, Love Island winner, comedian, and a rapper who has performed at the Royal Albert Hall – all have in common?
Well, in 2025/26 they all brought the public spotlight to our favourite pastime; bingo!
So we are giving you the chance to recognise their efforts by voting for the UK’s Best Bingo Personality in the WhichBingo Awards Pre Show (voting opens on April 7).
Here are the nominees for Best Bingo Personality: 2026 (in no particular order):

Tubz (Marc Almond – CookingWithTubz)
Real name Marc Almond, aka Tubz, is a TikTok star with nearly 400,000 TikTok followers and millions of views on his bingo content.
Tubz has become one of bingo’s most enthusiastic and entertaining ambassadors,
WhichBingo and Tubz paired up for a tour of UK bingo clubs from Poole to Leeds, rating the food, the atmosphere, and the prizes with infectious enthusiasm. A genuine bingo superfan who is a subject matter expert on all things bingo!

Toni Laites – Love Island Winner
Sometimes bingo finds its fans in the most unexpected places like, say, the Love Island villa.
Toni Laites became the first American to win the UK Love Island in 2025, capturing the nation’s hearts with her quick wit and infectious personality.
But it was a moment during the show itself that caught the bingo world’s attention: while on a date in the villa, Toni casually mentioned that she plays bingo for fun, a throwaway comment that delighted viewers and sparked no shortage of chatter online.
Toni is a great representation of the younger generations love of bingo.

Danny Scott – Dabbers Bingo
Danny Scott is one of the headline hosts at Dabbers Social Bingo, the contemporary bingo venue in the heart of London, where comedians and cocktails.
As a comedian and performer, Danny brings the house down night after night, running Musical Bingo rounds that have audiences up and dancing. He’s been part of Dabbers’ iconic hosting team for its 7th birthday celebrations and has become one of the most recognisable faces in modern, entertainment-led bingo. A reminder that when bingo meets comedy, the result is something truly electric.
Bingo Benj (Benj Maycock)
Few people in the bingo world have had a journey quite like Bingo Benj. Benj Maycock was working as a refuse collector for Birmingham City Council when he spotted a job ad for a show host at Mecca Bingo in Wednesbury.
A trained musician who studied at Access Creative College on the same course as Ed Sheeran, and who has toured with James Arthur and performed at the O2 and the Royal Albert Hall, Benj brought his rap skills to the bingo hall and in 2022 was crowned National Bingo Game Caller of the Year, winning the crowd over with his self-penned rap track B!ngo!, which he simultaneously released on all streaming platforms.
Since his win, he has served as an industry ambassador, appeared on ITV’s This Morning, attended events at the House of Commons, and returned to the National Final as a judge in 2024.
What are the WhichBingo Awards; Pre Show Categories?
So what exactly is a Pre-Show session?
Well, like the Oscars, Emmys, and Grammys, we’ll be handing out a round of awards earlier in the day. With so much and so many to celebrate, it felt like the right way to reward the more community-led side of bingo and casino in a fun new way. These categories are still player-voted.
