Each year it seems that a different range of brands and their players really raise their game and go all out to take away a coveted WhichBingo award. This year the battle really was intense and of the 16 awards we gave away, nine were secured by just three brands.
The main award of the event is Best Bingo Site and this year that award went to Foxy Bingo. This is a very high profile site and the only surprising thing is that they haven’t swept up more of our awards over the years. Foxy Bingo also took the award for Best Proprietary Bingo Site and linked brand Foxy Games took Best Slots Site. The owner of Foxy Bingo, Entain, won the award of Most Socially Responsible Operator, so it was a good night for the company all round.
Heart Bingo raises its game
While only gaining one award in 2022, Heart Bingo really raised its game in the following 12 months as this year they too scored three awards – Best Pragmatic Play Bingo Site as voted for by players and Best Mobile Bingo and Best Customer Service as decided by the panel of judges.
Pragmatic Play become more prominent
Pragmatic Play have really risen in prominence over the last 5 years and this year this has really shown through at the WhichBingo Awards. Not only did they scoop the awards for both Best Bingo Software, beating off competition from Dragonfish and Playtech, but also for Best Slots Developer. And, as if to prove the point, the Pragmatic Play developed game Big Bass Bonanza took the award as being the players Best Slot Game.

The awards were presented to the winners on 17th May on the Sunborn in Gibraltar with many industry representatives in the audience. The evening’s entertainment was varied with lots of music and dancing, and for the first time incorporated some actual bingo games with some fun prizes.
