Traitors Celebrity 2025 Cast

Three Traitors Episodes Left, Who’s Really in Control of the Castle? Paul Gorton Weighs In

It’s time to face facts.

There are only three, yes three, episodes remaining and The Traitors is entering its most dangerous phase yet. The prize pot towards that £120,000, alliances are still forming and tightening, and the margin for error inside the castle has never been smaller.

After three weeks of banishments, murders, and twists including the now-infamous Secret Traitor the final stretch is less chaos, more emotional pressure. As former Traitor and Traitors expert Paul Gorton sat down with WhichBingo, he tells us about the “grit” that defined earlier episodes may be giving way to something far more intense.

“I think the grit might have left the show, and I think it might be replaced by just really pure emotion. We’re in for a really emotional few days”.

The steady loss of both Faithful and Traitors has reshaped the game entirely. Early exits removed strategic minded players, while later banishments particularly those driven by emotion rather than evidence have left the remaining players walking a tightrope between instinct and survival.

With eight players left and only two Traitors still in play, the balance of power has shifted. On paper, the Faithfuls should have the advantage, but the reality inside the castle is far more complex.

The question is, have the traitors bitten off more than they can chew?

Who’s in the Driving Seat as the Endgame Begins?

According to Paul, one player stands out as virtually untouchable at this stage of the competition.

“The strongest person in the castle now is Rachel. All of the older players have gone, and she’s established herself as the leader and the mother of the group. I think Rachel is absolutely bulletproof”.

Rather than dominating through overt strategy, Rachel’s position has been strengthened by trust, warmth, and timing qualities that are becoming increasingly valuable as tensions rise.

Paul also believes this season could rewrite what it means to win The Traitors, with teamwork replacing the traditional backstabbing route to victory.

“We’ve seen winners go it alone before, but this could be the first time we see a real team win in the UK show. It shows you don’t have to be an individual backstabber, you can actually work together and still make it to the end”.

That teamwork, particularly between Rachel and Stephen, may prove decisive as the group becomes more fractured and emotional.

Despite earlier signs in the edit indicating Rachel was playing her own game, it seems the two are willing to ride the wave to the end together.

Who’s at Risk of being Murdered or Banished Next?

Paul Traitors

With recruitment still possible (Matthew waits patiently in the wings) and suspicion shifting endlessly, predicting the next exit is hard. Paul believes that if the Traitors choose to recruit, a murder may be delayed but if not, attention could turn to players who are either quietly influential or conveniently expendable.

“If they just want a red-herring kill, someone like Jack makes sense. It would confuse the group because it doesn’t really give them anything.

But someone like Roxy is dangerous because she’s forthright and strong, even if she hasn’t turned her attention to the Traitors yet“.

As for the banishment table, emotional reactions could outweigh logic.

“This season has shown how quickly things can turn. Someone can go from being trusted to being banished in the space of an hour.

A lot of decisions aren’t based on long-term evidence, it’s herd mentality and survival.”

A Very Different Final Week

As the castle prepares for its final reckoning, Paul believes the tone of the game has fundamentally changed.

“I don’t think we’re heading for fireworks. I think it’s going to feel more like the end of a sad book, emotional, painful, and very human”.

With £120,000 on the line and relationships now driving decisions, the final three episodes promise to deliver one of the most emotionally charged endings The Traitors has possibly ever seen.
