The new year promotion appeared on both the Heart Bingo website and the brand’s Facebook page on 6^th January 2023.

It offered players the chance to “get some January joy in 2023 and fill the year with glee!”

The prize money was considerable, causing thousands of hopefuls to enter the competition in a bid to win £2,023 every month for an entire year, giving the lucky winner an incredible total of £24,276.

The rules of the promotion were accompanied by a video of Olly Murs telling viewers “Have I got a New Year’s treat for you?”. He also encouraged potential Heart Bingo players to “sign up and opt-in for free to get this year off to the best start.”

To take part, players had to collect as many prize draw entries as possible before the promotion ended at 11.59 PM on 30^th January 2023. They were able to collect one draw entry for every £5 cash that they spent in the Heart Bonanza Bingo room, and one entry for every £5 cash that they wagered on the Make Me a Millionaire slot game.

The winner of the competition was announced on 1^st February 2023, and when she was informed about her win, “Maza” said, “OMG, it happened to a normal person!”
