IGT Posts Record Progressive Jackpot Wins in April 2023

iGaming software developer IGT has posted record progressive jackpot wins in the month of April 2023. This cash has been paid out across a range of its progressive jackpot slot games and is the biggest pay out month they have ever recorded.

How Much Money Did IGT Pay Out in Winnings?

IGT has announced that it has paid out around $17 million in jackpot wins last month and this is the largest amount in the company’s history. The biggest jackpot wins came from the iconic IGT slot games Wheel of Fortune, Powerbucks and Megabucks. These wins were paid out across states in both the USA and Canada.

Wheel of Fortune has three notable jackpot wins across the month on the 2nd, 15th and 28th April. The slot was launched nearly three decades ago and boasts that over 1,100 players have become millionaires spinning its reels. In total, the slot has paid out more than $3.4 billion.

What IGT Games Have Paid Out in April 2023?

The biggest win was paid out in Nevada’s Atlantic Casino Resort Spa and this win also set the record for the largest single-slot jackpot win in the company’s history. A female player, who wishes to remain anonymous, wagered $10 and won an incredible $14,005,833 spinning the reels of the Megabucks slot game. She played for 40 minutes before winning the life-changing Megabucks Mega Vault jackpot.

The second largest win was won in Ontario, Canada. It was also the largest land-based jackpot win in Canada, with a player in Casino Woodbine winning a whopping CAD $3,217,900. The Powerbucks games have now become the record holders in both countries in a single month.

Another player in Quebec, Canada, won a huge CA $1,728,271 on the online Powerbucks slot game Wheel of Fortune Elegant Emeralds.

Any progressive jackpot game on the IGT network can potentially be won at all online casinos or land-based venues.
