Methodology

We gathered information on the number of attendees and the total number of Instagram tags for every festival in order to calculate its popularity on the platform. By dividing the total number of Instagram tags by the total number of participants, the number of tags per attendee was determined.

This metric provides a standardized measure of social media engagement, allowing for a fair comparison across festivals of varying sizes.
