Well of Wishes Slot Review
If you’re hoping for some wishes to be granted, then now may be the time to toss in a coin or two into the Well of Wishes slot. This is a gorgeous 5 reel 10 payline game from Red Tiger Gaming featuring the traditional lucky symbols such as the four leafed clover and the rabbit’s foot.
Aside from being visually gorgeous, Well of Wishes has some excellent bonus features with plenty of Wilds thrown into for good measure. Our Well of Wishes slot review has all the details along with the best slot sites to play it at.
How to play
It really couldn’t get much easier than Well of Wishes. It all starts with setting your bet size via the Stake button at the bottom left corner of the screen. The bet starts at £0.20 a spin and goes up to £20. The 10 paylines are always active so there’s really nothing else to set after that. Once you’re happy with your bet size, the golden Spin button awaits on the right corner of the screen.
The Autoplay feature goes up to 100 spins and you can also set other parameters like a loss limit, or to stop the Autoplay when you hit a bonus feature, or when a win exceeds a certain amount. The Turbo button right next to the Spin button will make the reels spin faster.
Symbols in Well of Wishes are:
- Rabbit foot
- Horse shoe
- Four leaf clover
- A, K, Q, J, 10
All of the above symbols can turn into golden Wilds.
Additionally, there is a Lucky Coin Wild as well as a Lucky Spins symbol.
The fixed jackpot in Well of Wishes can be won in a number of ways. The most basic is to spin 5 of the Rabbit foot symbols, which will get you 300x your bet size. However, the symbols all have the potential to turn into golden Wilds and when you get 5 of these Wilds on a payline, you’ll also see a 300x payout. The maximum win in this game is 5499x your stake so it can add up to quite a bit!
Well of Wishes has two special features that can rev up your gameplay:
Lucky Coin Wild: The Lucky Coin looks like a field of green clovers on one side, while the other side has a golden W on it. These can occur randomly and act as a Wild to substitute for any other symbol to deliver a winning payline. The Coin is then collected at the top of the game screen and when you have 5 of these coins, they’ll be tossed into the well. This will change a random symbol into a Wild and could also transform a second symbol into a Wild.
Lucky Spins: The Lucky Spins symbol also lands randomly on the reels. When you have 1 or 2 of these symbols, then they will lock into place as the reels get another spin. If you get 3 or more Lucky Spins symbols, then you’ll activate a round of 10 Free Spins. During this round, symbols that have been transformed into Wilds by the Well of Wishes will remain as Wilds.
Graphics and Sounds
A serene field of 3 leaf clovers set the background to Well of Wishes as you find the charm that could bring you good fortune. The symbols are vibrant and colourful in their golden frames against a luxurious, purple velvet stage. Winning paylines are highlighted with streaks of gold. When you hit a bonus feature, the screen will be charged with brilliant animations as golden coins rain down to celebrate your wins. The soundtrack is lively and fast with Irish folk music and the clinking of coins. The game will truly put you into a happy-go-lucky mood as the reels spin and glitter.
Well of Wishes is a lively video slot with the popular Irish theme of clovers and other talismans for good fortune. The bonus features with the Wilds and Free Spins add more wins and excitement to an already lively game. While the top prize of 300x may not sound like a lot, the combination of Wilds over the 10 paylines can add up to much more serious sums to take home. Pop by one of our recommended casino sites and toss in a coin to see if the well will grant you a few wishes!
