Foxy Bingo Advert 2024

Foxy Bingo Invites You to the ‘Foxy Moedown’

Foxy Bingo in association with the Neverland agency has released the latest chapter in the ‘Get Your Fox On’ saga. We move away from beatboxes and launderettes and head to country music and line dancing country instead. Foxy Bingo continues to stand out among bingo sites with its playful and creative campaigns.

What is the Foxy Bingo Advert Song?

Foxy Bingo owner Entain has long been known for encouraging its agencies to use popular songs in its adverts – they give an air of friendliness and familiarity that is comfortable. The latest advert, ‘Foxy Moedown’ takes the 1974 Waylon Jennings hit I’m a Ramblin’ Man and gives us line dancing with a twist.

Let’s breakdown the Foxy Bingo Advert

The Foxy Bingo ads these days have very little reference to bingo – but to be fair they never really have featured the game itself even in the past, having relied on the Foxy mascot in his purple suit. Nowadays even the mascot is not allowed and has been retired and the only way you can really tell it is an advert for a bingo site is at the end. Oh, and one quick reference to Free (to) Play when the jukebox is fired up.

The advert itself is very memorable. The country music/line dancing theme is ‘Foxified’ if you will by the fact that the dancers make lassos from their very long moustaches or plaited hair and then line dance in and out of the loops to the Waylon Jennings tune – moustache = moedown instead of hoedown, clever, eh?

How was the ad made?

The ad needed very close collaboration with the agency special effects team, a Mexican lasso artist, dance choreographers and the film director to make it all look as real as possible – and we think they succeeded. The final film is expertly put together, and you will be seeing a lot of it over the summer on digital advertising channels, social channels and you will be hearing a lot of the ad song on radio advertising too.

Successful campaign

The ‘Get Your Fox On’ campaign was launched towards the end of 2022 and started with a hair salon setting, continued with a launderette theme reminiscent of a retro advert for a jeans brand and now the social club line dancing. This campaign by Neverland has seen year on your visits to the Foxy Bingo website increase by 43% between 2022 and 2023.

We look forward to a summer of country music and we can’t wait for the next instalment.
