New Club3000 Bingo Blackpool Gets New Manager

New Club3000 Bingo Blackpool Gets New Manager

Recently we brought you some very exciting news regarding the progress on the state-of-the-art, new bingo venue in one of Britain’s biggest tourist destinations. Club 3000 Blackpool is set to open this summer, and the owner has already decided on the manager that will oversee it.

More about the all-new Club3000 bingo hall

Work began on the new bingo club back in 2020, but ground to a halt when the COVID-19 pandemic started in March. Another hold-up that pushed back progress on the building work was the change in ownership of the retail park that the venue is being built on. The stalled project was restarted in March 2022, and the finished product is expected to cost around £7m.

The original opening date was February 2023 but has since been pushed back to June.

The new Club 3000 will be situated on Rigby Road in Festival Park – a purpose-built leisure park. It takes the place of the old Swift Hound pub, and the operator hopes that it will prove as successful as its Kilmarnock branch which opened to rave reviews in August 2022.

According to the latest update, the building is currently being kitted out with “modern fittings and fixtures to create a luxurious environment” that will be able to cater for hundreds of bingo players.

New bingo club – new management

The owner of Club 3000 has already found the perfect manager to help steer its latest venue to victory.

Sean Connolly, who comes from Fleetwood, has enjoyed a long career in land-based bingo which has seen him work at 24 different clubs in locations as diverse as Hove and Aberdeen.

He says that he’s “incredibly excited and proud” to have been chosen as Club 3000 Bingo Blackpool’s general manager and that he “cannot wait to open the doors this summer”.

Sean has been working with Club 3000 since the beginning of 2022, and he can’t sing the brand’s praises highly enough. He says that Club 3000 delivers “first-class customer service” while also giving players excellent value for money and the chance to win “fabulous” prizes.
