It only seems like yesterday that PlayOJO arrived on the scene, welcoming players with its promises of wager-free offers as the “home of feel-good fun”. Despite this, the brand has just turned 6, and it’s been inviting its members to help it celebrate with several birthday-themed promotions.
Looking back to the beginning
PlayOJO launched in March 2017 on the popular SkillOnNet platform. Its main aim was to stand out from the competition by offering a fresh approach to online gaming.
The brand’s quirky ad campaigns and wager-free offers quickly helped it to raise its profile and gain thousands of fans.
While it originally offered casino games and online slots, it expanded its portfolio and gained new followers in mid-2020 when it added an exciting range of Pragmatic Playonline bingo rooms. Its bingo offering extended its “fair and fun” ethos by including Fair Bingo rooms that feature everything from equal-chance games, 10% on ticket purchases, and winnings from bonuses paid in cash with no withdrawal restrictions.
The big birthday celebrations
During the early part of March 2023, PlayOJO’s bingo fans were invited to play in the site’s special Birthday Party room twice a day for the chance to win a share of a £700 prize pool. The games included 5-line and 75-ball variants, as well as birthday-themed pattern games.
For the brand’s casino enthusiasts, there’ was a slots leaderboard competition called the Holiday Giveaway, and players could purchase an unlimited number of tickets for £1 each or take at least 50 cash spins on the La Fiesta slot game. There was £12,000 in prizes given away, including a luxury holiday.
