Since launch in 2017 PlayOJO has been striving to stand out from the traditional casino sites around, many of which can be considered quite staid and traditional in their look and layout. Check out expert picks for best casino sites for more top gaming experiences!
Live Roulette on the TV
Having started as just a UK based site, PlayOJO is now a well-known brand around the world, but once again they are using the UK market to test new innovations. Many people will have seen the recent PlayOJO ad campaign ‘It’s Alive’ which itself was intended to raise awareness of the new Live Casino room at the site which has been provided by Pragmatic Play and its Pragmatic Live arm.
The new venture with Channel 5 is an extension of that awareness campaign and is designed to give even more people access to the feel of a real-world casino experience from the comfort of their own homes.
The new Channel 5 show is The PlayOJO Live Casino Show, but you may not have caught it yet as it does go out in the early hour of the morning – between 1am and 3am to be precise.
Details of The Live Casino Show
You may be wondering who the PlayOJO presenters are that will be entertaining you as you play. The casino show is hosted by Kellie Gnauk, who is fresh from the hit West End musical Bat out of Hell, together with David Butler, TV presenter for Paris St Germain FC. As you would expect from PlayOJO the action is vibrant and lively even for that hour of the morning.
This show is the result of a strong collaboration between the brand, London based media agency All Response Media, Channel 5 and French TV production company FruitSalad to create the show.
Head of Global Marketing at PlayOJO Andrew Steddy commented,
“A core objective this year was to raise the profile of Live Gameshow and Casino games on PlayOJO and be first choice for players looking for an online live casino experience. Early signs are extremely encouraging for both the game and the show.”
Of course, the ultimate aim is to encourage people to try the games on site at more normal hours, but well done to PlayOJO for going the extra mile show casino games can be fun and entertaining using a medium more familiar to a lot of people. Just to add to the fun, we wonder if they are planning to have a PlayOJO commercial during the breaks? They are a lot of fun too – like the ‘It’s Alive’ campaign that featured a purple Frankenstein’s Monster character advertising all the super live game shows that are now on the site like Crazy Time, Monopoly Live and Buffalo Blitz Live.

Your chances of walking away with real cash from a casino bonus are set to improve significantly. New UK regulations are putting an end to unfairly high wagering requirements. From 19th January all casino sites must adhere to a 10x maximum wagering cap on bonus offers, following a landmark ruling by the Gambling Commission. Anyone accessing gambling sites or visiting gambling venues this week will see traditional marketing taken down in favour of Safer Gambling posters, but does anyone actually notice – and more importantly does anyone actually care? conversations we are often reluctant to have From every angle I believe strongly that Safer Gambling Week is a vitally important campaign designed to raise awareness of safer gambling and to open up conversations that…

It’s time to face facts. There are only two, yes two, episodes remaining and The Traitors is entering its most dangerous phase yet. Spoiler alert! If you haven’t watched Series 4 Episode 7 aired on Wednesday 14th Jan, you might want to do it now. “One moment changed everything, but the damage doesn’t land all at once”. “The fallout is…
