An everlasting favourite, it’ll perhaps be of no surprise that Roast turkey came in as the star of the Christmas table, being the most popular meat served on Christmas day.
Pigs in blankets, a crowd favourite, was found to be the favourite side dish or finger food, while Cranberry sauce was all Brits want for Christmas as their perfect sweet-tangy accompaniment.
What was a surprise was to discover how popular Ketchup and Mayonnaise were, ranked the 3rd and 4th best condiment to go along with Christmas Dinner. A staggering 12.1% of Brits admitted to smothering their Christmas plate with Tomato Ketchup, while 7.4% liked slapping on Mayo.

No Christmas feast is complete without festive drinks. For our next question, we asked what were Brits favourite festive drinks. Mulled wine, with its aromatic spices, is the top choice for creating a warm and cosy atmosphere, followed by the sparkling luxury of Champagne and the party atmosphere of Prosecco.
The Christmas classic of Eggnog – to some an acquired taste – ranked 4th overall.
Moving onto the dessert options and Mince Pies are officially the nation’s favourite Christmas treat. Brits ranked Mince Pies above every chocolate option available and even the classic Christmas Pudding itself!
Drilling down into the rankings of the chocolate options, Celebrations beat Quality Street, After Eight’s and Roses to claim the number one spot.

And finally, what would a Christmas get together be without the fun and games? If you’re not falling out over Monopoly or getting wound up over Trivial Pursuit, is it even Christmas at all?
