Special features

There are three big special features in the House of Doom slot game including the spirit gate feature, free spins round and crypt spins feature.

On the reels, you will spot the spirit gate symbol and if one of the three wild symbols lands inside the spirit gate it will expand to cover the entire reel and trigger its corresponding feature. Players will be awarded a re-spin with one of the following modifiers:

  • Fire mistress feature – if the fire wild lands inside the spirit gate, players will receive a random multiplier of up to 10x their stake
  • Queen of the damned feature – if the queen of the damned wild lands inside the spirit gate, an additional spirit gate symbol will be added to the reels which can help create more expanding wilds
  • Metal priestess feature – the metal priestess wild will transform symbols into higher value skill symbols to create even bigger cash prizes

Land three scatter symbols on the first, third and fifth reels to trigger the free spins bonus round. During this round, you can also benefit from at least one spirit gate feature and so you can look forward to multipliers, reels filled with the skull symbol and expanding wilds. Players will be awarded eight free spins.

Lastly, we have the crypt spin feature which is triggered with three flaming crypt scatter symbols whilst you are playing the free spins bonus round. To upgrade the crypt symbol into a fiery symbol, it has to land inside the spirit gate. Players will then be awarded eight crypt spins. During this round, the spirit of unity wild also comes into play and will award re-spins when triggered that apply all three spirit gate features.

Graphics and Sounds

House of Doom 2 appears very similarly to the original slot game and has a gothic, horror theme. Players will find themselves inside a burial chamber with statues standing on each side of the reels. O the black reels, you will find low value playing card symbols in red while the high value symbols include crossed swords, flowers, candles and skulls. This slot game name comes from a song created by metal band Candlemass and you will hear this soundtrack playing in the background as you spin the reels which adds a fantastic finishing touch to the game.

Conclusion

House of Doom 2 is a hugely popular slot game in the Play N GO library and this sequel will not disappoint anyone who loves the original game. The graphics in this game look incredible and the heavy metal soundtrack makes it a little bit different to other horror themed slots available online. Players will also enjoy the wide range of bonus features on offer including the expanding wilds, multipliers and modifiers that can award wins of up to 6,000x your stake. If you are looking for a great horror themed slot game to play this Halloween, House of Doom 2 is the perfect option.
