If you’re a fan of Ru Paul’s Drag Race and you also love playing bingo, you might want to consider a stay in Sheffield this spring as one of the show’s previous contestants is going to be holding an exciting drag bingo night. The event is set to take place on Saturday, 8th April 2023 at the OEC.
“An unforgettable bingo night”
The event is being organised by TIG Events, and the company’s managing director, Luke Hague, is promising guests “an unforgettable bingo night”. There will be music to keep the party going all night, fabulous prizes, and plenty of audience interaction.
The night will be hosted by Emma Maezin and Miss Cleo, the latter of whom forms one half of The Funky Beaver Show, and the duo will be adding a fun comedy twist to the bingo games.
The special guest will be Choriza May, who some of you may know from Season 3 of Drag Race UK. When purchasing tickets, guests will have the option to book a meet and greet with Choriza and enjoy some exclusive photo opportunities.

Choriza is a drag queen from sunny Valencia in Spain, and when she’s not performing on stage, she works as a graphic designer and illustrator. She’s previously appeared on TV in Drag Race UK, as well as on the main stage at Northern Pride.

Dabbers Social Bingo hosts a variety of drag bingo events at its Houndsditch venue, and since January 2023, it’s been running a weekly drag brunch on Saturdays.
Mecca Bingo works with a host of drag professionals such as the Dabber Dolls. The operator has also run Boots Down Bingo events that have featured several high-profile drag queens like Baga Chipz.
Buzz Bingo has previously held drag bingo events at some of its UK clubs. Cheryl Hole, who also appeared on Ru Paul’s Drag Race, appeared at Buzz Bingo Basildon just last year.
