We’re Going ‘Inside Buzz Bingo’ in our New Mini-Series
We’ve visited a lot of alternative bingo events over the last couple of years for the making of the WhichBingo Dabbing Out series. We thought it was about time to go back to basics and see what makes a more traditional bingo brand tick when they have to maintain an online and a high street presence.
Welcome to ‘Inside Buzz Bingo’ our three-part exploration of how Buzz Bingo has grown to be the market-leader it is today in every area it operates.
The trailer (shown here) went live early in May and has been seen by over 75,000 people. We revealed we would be enjoying exclusive access behind the scenes in some of the best Buzz Bingo clubs and learning how the online product is put together – in particular the very popular Live Bingo Room.
Episode one – The Bingo Halls
Released on 16th May, this episode took Charlie Shakespeare around the country to visit some of the most popular Buzz Bingo venues. He meets some very helpful members of the public who let him in on some dabbing secrets, plus a very special bingo caller
Charlie revealed, “For the first episode of Inside Buzz Bingo, we travelled to Derby and Nottingham. First, I met Andy who recently became Buzz Bingo’s Caller of the Year! I’m not sure if I’ve ever met someone with such a perfect voice for bingo! Andy embodies a traditional bingo presenter, hence him winning the top prize at their recent competition.
Later, I met the lovely Rita who plays bingo at Buzz Bingo’s Nottingham Top Valley hall every week. She’s an amazing character and we had a lot of fun playing into the night.”
At the time of writing, Episode One has already been seen by over 50,000 people, with that number climbing all the time. This shows how popular the bingo game still is in the UK and that people are still curious about this enduring game.
Check out Episode One here and check back from Thursday 23rd May for Episode Two.
