Pragmatic Play Releases Megaways Version of Popular Slot
The online games manufacturer, Pragmatic Play, has just released a sequel to its popular Wild Wild Riches video slot. The latest incarnation introduces Big Time Gaming’s Megaways game mechanic to give players additional winning opportunities.
Tell me about Wild Wild Riches Megaways
Wild Wild Riches Megaways is set in the Emerald Isle, and it features an idyllic countryside scene that includes lush green fields, a white picket fence, wildflowers, a path made out of gold, a shimmering rainbow, and a leprechaun’s hat filled with shiny gold coins.
As the game uses the Megaways game mechanic, there are 6 reels rather than 5, and the number of symbols that can land on each reel varies from spin to spin. The more symbols that are in view, the more ways to win, and you can see the exact number of Megaways that are available at the top-right of the playing area.
The paytable symbols are formed of Irish-themed symbols such as pints of stout, horseshoes, shamrocks, toadstools, harps, and pots of gold.
You can set your stake to a minimum of 20p and a maximum of £100 per spin, and the slot’s RTP (Return to Player) is a respectable 96.02%.
Wild Wild Riches Megaways uses 3 special symbols – the wild symbol, the Money Collect symbol, and the Bonus symbol.
The wild symbol is the Celtic Knot, and it can appear on reels 1 and 2 where it can help to create winning combinations by substituting for regular symbols.
The Bonus symbol is the Leprechaun’s Hat, and when it lands on reel 3 on the same spin that one or more wild symbols land on reels 1 and 2, it triggers the Free Spins Bonus. The Free Spins Bonus gives you a random number of free games (ranging from 6 to 20), and on each spin, there are additional wild symbols and Money symbols.
The Money Collect symbol is the Pot of Gold, and when combined with 2 or more wild symbols, it lets you collect any Money symbols that are currently in view. The Money symbols can consist of instant cash rewards of up to 20x your stake, multipliers of up to x5, or one of 4 fixed jackpots.
