With impeccable timing Light and Wonder and Warner Bros. have announced an expanded licensing deal that will see the casino player favourite physical slot game WILLY WONKA™: WORLD OF WONKA become available online for the first time.
Warner has just released the first trailer for the new Wonka film with Timothée Chalamet in the title role and featuring Hugh Grant of all people as an Oompa-Loompa. The new film is a world away from the World of Wonka themed slot that features Gene Wilder in the title role from 1971 and focussing on him passing on his empire. The new Wonka film, which will be in cinemas at Christmas, is centred on the early days of Wonka and how he built his chocolate empire.
Willy Wonka: World of Wonka is the first of many Wonka themed slots that Light and Wonder want to bring online as part of the new licensing agreement, and they will be joined by other famous names such as THE WIZARD OF OZ™: ROAD TO EMERALD CITY during 2024.
