Update on Grease Bingo
It looks like Grease Bingo did hit our screens for a short time at the end of 2019, but before we could get a full review of the game for you, it looks like the game was pulled from all the sites it was featured on. We are not sure if this was linked to copyright issues or something else, but when we searched in February 2020 we could not find the game in any of the bingo schedules at the Playtech bingo sites. Jump forward to June 2020 and we were browsing a few different Playtech sites and spotted Grease Bingo hidden away at the bottom of the 90 ball lobby, faded out – it only opens on a Saturday night between 7pm and midnight.
What we know about the Grease Bingo games
Think of the film Grease and you will immediately picture John Travolta in his leather T-Birds jacket and Olivia Newton-John in those tight black satin pants and with the blonde perm. Very soon that will change and when you think of Grease you will think ‘online bingo’! Yes, Grease Bingo is coming.
Playtech has acquired the rights from Paramount to develop a bingo game based around this iconic movie set in 1950’s America and the love lives of high school kids. The film has become a favourite across the generations and Playtech hopes the same will be true of this brand new bingo game that they are to add to their platforms.
